Mobile broadband from China Telecom covers around 342 cities , 2055 countries and 6000 plus small towns of China. Mobile broadband from China Unicom covers around 284 cities of China(details please check on http://info2.10010.com/services/wlfg_english1.html ).
Mobile broadband from China Telecom provide download speed up to 3.1Mbps. Mobile broadband from China Unicom provide download speed up to 7.2Mbps. But it doesn't mean the actual speed you will get. Speed and quality of connection can vary depend on your locations, where the number of users and signal strength will affect the speed.
Can I use mobile broadband abroad?
Sorry. Currently not. You can only use mobile broadband in China, excluding HK, Macao,Taiwan.
Can I use mobile broadband on a train?
Yes though coverage and speed can vary dependent on the strength of the mobile signal you can receive.
Do I need a landline for mobile broadband?
No there is no need to pay for a landline with mobile broadband.
I am satisfied with current speed of mobile broadband. Can it change better?
